The senator representing Borno north senatorial district, distinguished senator Mohammed Tahir Monguno, esq, Chief Whip of the senate and Vice Chairman senate committee on appropriation organised capacity building training for Three Hundred Small Business owners through in conjunction with Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR).

In his commitment to the recovery effort and enhance business community in his senatorial district, the epicenter of the Boko Haram insurgency where most livelihood were lost to the insurgency, Sen MT Monguno’s today’s biweekly empowerment 300 small business owners were benefited and empowered with N100,000.00 each. A cumulative amount of N30,000,000.00 were disbursed.

Sen Monguno in his usual call through the member state house of assembly, representing Nganzai state constituency, Rt. Hon. Sheikh Mohammed Ali Gajiram, asked the beneficiaries to put in place the guid they were extended during the training days and channel the start packages accordingly as trained by the facilitators.

The event was took place at the Barwee Luxury Suit, Maiduguri, notable personalities of northern Borno graced closing ceremony comprising of the state house of assembly members, serving and former local government chairmen, LG APC party chairmen and among others.

In another development, immediately after the closing ceremony, Sen Monguno fulfilled his premise made during the electioneering campaign to APC party chairmen of Kaga and that of Guzamala LGAs who are passes away and another stakeholder from Abadam LG, Mainu Mohammed Tar in lifting their transport by conveying their day-to-day activities.

Having responding to the promise, Sen Monguno blessed the deceased families with vehicle, Lexus GX470 each. Sheikh Mohammed Ali Gajiram presented the vehicles to the beneficiaries.
