SaltinGStein Limited, in collaboration with the National Sports Commission (NSC) and CashToken Rewards Africa, is embarking on a significant initiative aimed at transforming the sporting landscape in Nigeria through the establishment of the Nigeria National Public-Private Universal Sports and Social Security System (NINPPUSSS).
The project, introduced by Dr. Osi Apagun Lai Labode, is conceptualized as a “Chancified National Contribution” program that seeks to unify Nigerian businesses, international remittances, all payments, and International Direct Contributions (IDC) into a robust funding mechanism designed to elevate Nigerian sports to new heights.
The NINPPUSSS initiative aims to generate approximate funding for Nigerian sports. These funds will be directed toward establishing/supporting 37 new football clubs across Nigeria, promoting grassroots sports development, and supporting our Paralympic athletes. Importantly, the initiative also focuses on rewarding contributors with potential winnings of up to N5 million daily, benefiting around a thousand Nigerians.
Both the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Alh Shehu Dikko @Shehu Dikko, and the Director-General, Chief Bukola Olopade expressed their enthusiasm for the collaboration; “We are excited about the potential of the NINPPUSSS initiative and the positive impact it will have on the sports sector.
“We are currently working jointly to explore the next steps needed to bring this vision to fruition.”
The National Sports Commission reiterated its commitment to aligning this initiative with the ongoing efforts to amend the National Sports Act, highlighting the potential of NINPPUSSS to receive executive and legislative support that would further strengthen the intuitive.
In support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda, the National Sports Commission is dedicated to forging partnerships that will pave the way for tangible advancements in Nigerian sports which will boost the funding of sports.
