His Excellency presented the Minister of Livestock Development with a collection of his speeches on Food and Basic Security as well as an effigy of a Friesien-Holstein cow as a mark of honour to the pioneer minister of livestock development.
The Minister explained the mandate of the new Ministry which include but not limited to modernization of the nation’s livestock into a vibrant, sustainable and globally competitive sector for economic growth, national prosperity, job creation, poverty reduction and enhancement of social harmony.
The minister solicited Nyako’s support in marketing the Ministry to both local and international investors now that it has been opened for investors.
