The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed has expressed regrets over the tragic death of 17 road traffic crash victims, including one of the emergency rescue operatives of the Corps who was deployed to carry out rescue operation at the scene of the crash in Gbara area of Ogun State.
While expressing heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, The Corps Marshal urged motorists to make vehicle maintenance a priority and adhere to speed limits so as to prevent reoccurrence of such tragedies in the future.
The fatal multiple crash was said to have occurred as a result of excessive speed and break failure.
the Corps Marshal however vowed that the driver responsible for the carnage will definitely be prosecuted as part of ongoing efforts of the Corps to ensure that all drivers involved in fatal crash face the wrath of the law.
