Power Equipment and Development Institute ( PEEMADI) Okene, Kogi State, appreciates the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (@NASENIHQ ), Mr. @Mr Khalil Halilu, for the choice of the Institute to be part of the country’s technology advancement.
The Institute made this known today, Thursday, 12th September 2024, while presenting an award of achievement to the EVC/CEO in his office.
Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute, Engr. Yisah Yakubu Adajah who presented the award said Mr. Halilu is indeed a visionary leader who is always focused and determined to reposition NASENI to meet the country’s demand in the area of Innovation and technology.
While commending the EVC for achieving a lot within a short time of his appointment, he said the EVC has promised to continue to grant all the necessary support for the progress and development of the Agency.
In their remarks, the leadership of the Technical Staff Association TSAN, Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU), and Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes and Associated Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI) praised the EVC/CEO for staff welfare and declared their commitment to make NASENI a more productive Agency in the country.
Responding, the EVC/CEO who was represented by his Special Adviser on Administration and Human Resources, Mr. Abubakar Ahmed, thanked the Acting Managing Director/CEO of PEEMADI Okene and members of his management team for recognizing his efforts and accomplishments made within one year of his appointment, saying such recognition gives encouragement for more to be done.
He further emphasized that such achievements could not have been achieved without the support of all the NASENI Institutes. He also assured staff of the Institute of inclusiveness in the affairs of the Agency.
